On Saturday we had the day to ourselves.
We got up and started our day around 8.
Our first stop was to Rockefeller Center
to go to the Top of the Rock.
Here we are just going in
Central Park behind us
Take a look at this church!
So beautiful!!
Love that it is laid out like a cross.
City View
Empire State Building and Statue of Liberty off to the right
in the distance
Hard to see in the small picture,
but you can see where the ball drops
and the 2012 sign towards the bottom center
Central Park
The same church from the street level
Troy being like the statue
After we went to the Top of the Rock
we walked down fifth avenue
to Central Park.
Trump Tower on 5th Ave
In Central Park
Rockefeller Center Ice Skating Rink
At 1, we had reservations to do an NBC Studio Tour.
SO COOL! When we did the tour, some of the cast
of SNL were in the SNL studio rehearsing and we got
to stand there and watch them for a little bit.
Troy waiting in line for the tour. I couldn't take
any pictures while on the tour.
Then we walked down to Grand Central Station
And, then off to Times Square.
If you can tell, our faces are SO
wind burnt!!
I had to take this for Ellie
Rockefeller Center at Night
This was a Times Square pic with my phone.
That was about it. We went back to the hotel around 8, we were exhausted!! We planned to stay up and watch SNL since we saw them rehearsing, but I know I feel asleep around 10...so sad! ;) Our flight left at 12:30 on Sunday, so we just ordered breakfast that morning and packed up then headed to the airport. We had SUCH a good time in NYC and can't wait to go back.
