Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. My parents, my brother, sister-in-law, and niece all came over on Christmas Eve. We had tamales for dinner and opened presents. My parents stayed the night with us. My grandparents and brother, sister-in-law and niece came back for Christmas day lunch and more presents. We had a great time celebrating with family. Elizabeth is still too little to understand what is going on and really get into opening presents, but she tried. My mom wrapped a present with tissue paper and one piece of tape so Elizabeth could try to unwrap it. She did pretty good...and with a little help it was unwrapped. Troy, Elizabeth and I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!!

Elizabeth with Santa Claus. We saw this Santa at the store and got it to take Elizabeth's picture with every year. We can see how much bigger she gets every year with Santa. I got the idea from my best friend Heather...thanks for the idea!!!

Elizabeth and Emily sitting with Santa.

Grandma and Elizabeth...probably talking to each other or singing. :)

Elizabeth opening her presents....Elmo sprinkler!

More fun with presents
Troy was talking "like Santa" to Elizabeth. She LOVES it!

Daddy and Ellie. Troy gave Elizabeth a musical jewelry box for her 1st Christmas. Something she'll always have and treasure.

Mommy and Ellie opening presents. She doesn't look happy in this picture, but she was having a blast!

Great Grandma June and Elizabeth

Great Grandpa and Great Grandma with Elizabeth. I can't tell you how hard it was to get everyone looking at the camera. Between Great Grandpa and Elizabeth, I was lucky to get anything! ;)

Uncle Matt and Aunt Joanna with Elizabeth. Ellie has really warmed up to them now. They watched her one evening for Troy and I while we went to his work Christmas party. They played with her so much...so they are on the top of her favorite people list. Thanks guys!!

Grandma and Grandpa with Emily

Just had to put this picture of Elizabeth with her hat on.

Great pictures!! Ellie looks so excited!! Troy was so thoughtful to give Ellie a gift that she can treasure for many years to come, and always remember where it came from. Loooove your hair down, you look gorgeous! How fun to have so many family members all together celebrating. Elizabeth is lucky to have such a great big family! Oh, also, great new background on the blog! :)

Great job with the Santa. I did not post Kinley's picture with her reindeer, but we took the picture. Looks like yall had a great time. The blog looks great too! Happy First Chirtmas to Ellie, or perhaps more to you and Troy. Being a parent at Christmas brings the magic back!
