Christmas is getting to be so much fun now that Ellie is understanding a little more about it. She understands that we are celebrating Jesus' birthday. She even sang Happy Birthday to him. She really wanted to get him a Barbie cake. I had to say no to that, but told her that we could still sing happy birthday and we'd have lots of other desserts. She's totally into Santa, which is so much fun! We did the Elf on the shelf this year, and that was a big hit! Our Elf's name is Packard. He even left Ellie a note when he went back to the north pole on Cmas Eve! She loved it! On Christmas morning, Santa even left donuts for us to eat while we opened presents. We opened presents and played with everything. My parents and brother came back over for Christmas Lunch. It was great to have everyone together to celebrate again.
Ellie opening presents.
Santa brought the kids so much stuff!
All the gifts wrapped in the "Ho Ho Ho" paper are from Santa.
You can't really see them all under the tree, but it was a lot!
She loved helping the babies open their presents too!
Luke excited about the Lego's Santa brought him
Poppy gave Ellie the thing she wanted the most!!
A Princess Castle...and this one is from Disney!
