Picture Overload!

I've been slacking on the blog lately.  I think most of it is obvious...we've been busy.  The babies are crawling EVERYWHERE!  They are pulling up on anything they can, so that keeps me running in all different directions.  I go after one baby, Ellie goes after the other.  The only problem with that is...she's not supposed to be getting them!  She always wants to pick them up, which scares me so much.  She thinks she's bigger than she is, and I'm always worried she's going to drop them.  They think it's great when she's getting them.  The babies always laugh at her and think she is the best thing on this planet!  It's so amazing! It's been a fun few weeks, and I'm going to summarize in pictures.  :)

My brother and his kiddos stayed last weekend for one night. 

It was so fun having them stay, but it kept us all busy.

Only 3 adults and 5 kids under 4...we were exhausted!

We don't do it often, 

but she enjoys it when she can help me 

do anything in the kitchen.

So, I got distracted one afternoon while feeding

the babies and Chloe somehow grabbed the bowl

and this is what happened!

They have done good and not grabbed at the tree too much,

but they do try sometimes.

We went to the Gaskey's house last Tuesday.

If Brayden wouldn't kiss Chloe, she would 

grab his jacket and pull him towards her. 

It was hilarious!

We're going to have to watch this girl!!  ;)

There is a huge light display in Grand Prairie, 

so we went there with the Gaskey's. 

It was AWESOME!  Ellie loved it! Best part...

we went on a Tuesday night, and there was NOBODY there.

AWESOME!  Ellie loved the Santa they had there.

She was so excited to tell him what she wanted.

On Wednesday night, our library had a Christmas Story Time,

so we ventured out with all the kids.  

They actually did really well.

Ellie sat and listened to the stories and enjoyed it.

We held the babies, and they did well.

They had a Santa there too. 

Ellie was super excited to get to see him too!

But, when she got up to see him, 

I think she was a little disturbed.  As you

can tell from this picture...this Santa's beard wasn't on

very well, and I don't think Ellie could get past it.

She didn't really want to sit there anymore.

I thought it was pretty funny.

Then, on Saturday, we went to my extended Family Christmas.

It was so great to see everyone!

It gets a little hectic, but it's so fun! 

There are 12 Great Grandkids, and 9 of those are under 4 years old.

Ellie is the oldest of that bunch, so it's crazy and fun!

We only do presents for the great grandkids.

It's more about all of us getting together and celebrating.

Ellie was excited.  She didn't get to play with hers much at the

party, but she played with it forever when we got home!

So, it appears that Ellie has the BIGGEST crush on Nic.  It's SO cute!

She was so excited when he got there and told my mom, 

"Nicholas is here.  He's gotten big."  

He's a freshman in high school now.

While we were there, she was dancing and kept

going in front of him to dance and making sure he was 

watching her.  Then when we were leaving,

she had to give him about 5 hugs and kisses before she could leave!

Then on the way home, all she talked about was Nicholas.

I asked her what her favorite part about today was and her answer:

"getting to play with Nicholas."

So cute!
