We had some pretty bad storms come through last night. Our street and the street behind us had some good damage. The storm came at around 3:30am. Our power was out from 3:30 - 7:30. We took a few pictures of the damage we got. 2 trees down, one completely, and one half way. The one that is sliced was hit by lightening. Our neighbors were up and looking out their window and saw it get hit. But, with all that, no major contractions. I felt more pressure and a few contractions, but nothing regular. So, looks like we'll still be on for tomorrow.
This tree is in our backyard. It lucky didn't hit anything. Just completely snapped from the bottom and fell.
his tree is in our front yard and was the one hit by lightening...according to our neighbors. They actually had a tree branch go through one of their car windows. yuck!
The tree landed right in between our house and our neighbors....luckily it didn't hit their house. It hit ours just a little on the corner, so we'll be looking at getting that fixed.
And, last....here is a picture of me on Wednesday, 4/9/08....home from my last day of work for a little while.
